Board of Directors
Robert Ritter, President
Mr. Ritter is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, with B.S. degrees in Business Administration and Operational Management. Additionally he completed the Central Atlantic Advance School of Banking and the Central Atlantic School of Commercial Lending at Bucknell University. Mr. Ritter has also volunteered for several non-profit organizations including the American Cancer Society and the March of Dimes. Bob is married to Melanie and currently resides in Patterson Heights.
Dominic Lynch, Vice President
Mr. Lynch is now retired but enjoyed a long career with the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare and the Pennsylvania Department of Aging where he served as a licensing representative. While with the Department of Aging, Dom was the driving force behind the Pennsylvania PACE Program. Dom currently resides in Beaver.
Mrs. Florence Krakoff
Mrs. Krakoff has served on the Board since March of 1992. She was a long-term employee of the Western Beaver School District and after her retirement worked at both the Beaver County Cancer Society and the Heart Association. Her late husband, HAP founder Sam Krakoff, was honored in 1991 when the Adult Training Center was dedicated to his memory.
Mrs. Genevieve Fleeger
Mrs. Fleeger, a Board member since April 1990, is a retired employee of the Bayer Corporation. She lives in Aliquippa with her son Doug. Genevieve is a member of the Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church, where she serves on several committees.
Mr. Forner has been a member of the Board since August of 1998. Randy is a Realtor Associate with Prudential Preferred Realty in Beaver, having worked in that capacity since 1977. Mr. Forner is also President of the HAP Senior Care Board of Directors.
Mr. Hamilton has been a member of the Board since November 2005. Tom is employed by Duquesne Light in Ambridge and currently serves as the Mayor of Beaver where he also resides.
Mr. Martocci was elected a member of the Board of Directors in January of 2007. Frank is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and is a practicing attorney in Beaver County. Frank currently works with the District Attorney's office and has also been a public defender. Mr. Martocci currently resides in Ambridge.
Mrs. Laura Gibson
Mrs. Gibson has been a Board member since 2007. Laura brings 30 years of teaching and pedagogical experience to the board. She has a master's degree in Educational Psychology with a focus on early childhood learners and their environments. She is especially involved with parent and family support of those with special needs. Residing in Chippewa, Laura and her husband are enjoying raising their three sons, one of whom has special needs.
Mr. Campbell was appointed Chief Executive Officer in September 2010. Ed began his career with HAP in 1980 as a Resident Advisor in the Community Living Arrangements program. In 1984 he was promoted to the position of Program Coordinator and in 1986 to the position of Director of Residential services. In 2005 Ed also assumed the directorship for HAP's Training Center in Hopewell. He is the owner of Thursday's Restaurant in Bridgewater and he resides in Brighton Township with his fiancee, Courtney and his son Cory.
